Arrival

Doors open from 1pm for campers and 2pm for day visitors; you will be checked in at the infant gate.  Once checked in, campers drive down to the junior playground where you will be directed to your camping spot on the field.  You can drive onto the field but, once you have unloaded your tent please park your car back on the junior playground as directed - if the junior playground becomes full the infant playground will be used as an overflow.  Please ensure you do not block any gates, or the area between the infant and junior playground at all times these are to be kept clear as emergency exits.  Day visitors please park in the main car park to avoid problems exiting at the end of the day.

Swimming

The pool will be open from 3.00-5.50pm and access has been arranged in 4 sessions (3pm, 3.40pm, 4.30pm and 5.10pm), a maximum of 25 people are swimming in each session.  The adult to child ratios are as follows:

  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years or over
  • A responsible person in the pool may supervise up to four children between 4 and 8 years of age.
  • Under 4 year olds must be accompanied in the pool on a one to one basis.

Swimming tickets must be pre-booked.

Bouncy Castle

The bouncy castle will be open all day.   Please remember that parents are responsible for supervising their own children at all times.  The usual bouncy castle rules apply - no shoes, no food/drink (& sorry no adults).

Pick Up Sticks Climbing Frame

The pick up sticks climbing frame is for juniors and, as with all activities over the weekend, parents are responsible for supervising their own children at all times.

Water Slide & Games

A water slide and various games will be left on the field - so help yourselves.  Feel free to bring along anything you would like to play (e.g. football, kite, frisbee etc.).

Camp Fire

A group camp-fire will be organised in the centre of the field at around 6pm with campfire damper(/twists) and marshmallows. As the night draws in we will have music and song to round off the day.  If you have a musical instrument, please bring it along to accompany the singing.

To keep us all safe and avoid fire hazards please refrain from bringing any fire equipment e.g firepit, candles, sparklers etc.

Food & Drink

The evening BBQ, starting after 6pm, will consist of a burger, and a sausage or hot dog with salad this will be followed by an ice cream.  Note that the burgers and sausages (but not the hot dog sausages) are gluten free.

Marshmallows and sticks will be provided for marshmallow toasting.

Breakfast on Sunday morning will consist of cereals, bacon butties, orange/apple juice, tea/coffee and brioche.

Tea, Coffee and squash will be provided during the weekend in the main marquee.

Cooking equipment can be stored and used in our designated area on the playground if the BBQ option does not meet with your dietary needs. Please be aware that some of the ice creams will contain nuts.

The tuck shop will be open between 4pm and 6pm selling soft drinks and sweets - and glow things.  Note: we will not be selling alcohol on site so remember to bring your own, but please drink responsibly!
