By our standards we have had a quiet term. Thank you for your support; we raised money at the:

So far in 2007/8 the Friends have helped the school with:

- Two book display boxes for Reception;
- Also the area outside the Reception classes and fencing is to be refurbished:

The existing rotting fence will be replaced with new robust plastic Rainbow Fencing (left) which is multi-coloured, supersafe NO splinters, NO cracking, NO rotting and guaranteed for 20 years.
The area between Mice class and the Infant playground gate is to be landscaped and will contain seating, raised beds and a vegetable garden. More details are in the plan (PDF format).
Update on the 'Outdoor Classroom/Storage'
Due to the location of some mains sewers under the bank on the left hand side of the field, we are now looking to position the 'outdoor classroom/storage' by the swimming pool. The direction of a couple of surface water drains need to investigated, then we can proceed with planning permission.
We will keep you posted.
