Risk of Closure

The current Chair and Treasurer on the committee leave Friends of Goldsworth this year. Without these key roles filled, Friends of Goldsworth will have to close as a registered charity.

Please don't let this happen.

Friends of Goldsworth raises thousands of pounds for our school through fundraising and community events.
Summer and Christmas Fayres, Santa's Grotto, Diwali Fireworks Festival, tuck shops, school disco, quiz night, bingo, uniform sales, INSET fun days....and it has funded the running track, the library wall art, hundreds of books, sports equipment and team kits, music lessons, the pick-up sticks, phonics books, educational play equipment, Year 6 leavers t-shirts...and now we are planning a library refurbishment!
It is purely volunteers that make this happen.
Without members of our school community stepping in to help oversee events and make sure the charity runs properly, it will have to close.

Those amazing events will no longer happen, which is a huge shame for our children, families and community.
The thousands that we raise to enhance our children's school experience will no longer be provided.
Nobody wants Friends of Goldsworth to close - we need your help now!
