The annual general meeting of the Friends of Goldsworth will be held at the school on Thursday 20 October at 7.30pm.

This is the key meeting of the Friends, and all parents and carers are invited to attend. The AGM is a great way to find out exactly what the Friends does, the impact we make and how to be involved. It’s where the committee roles of chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary and comms/social media lead are elected, there’s also a summary of activities from the last year, and the agreement of the accounts. It’s hoped to hold the meeting as hybrid so people can log in from home, however this involves changing the Friends constitution. A model constitution for PTAs can be read here which we would like to adopt at the AGM – this is an updated version of our current constitution.
