Charity Status
The Friends of Goldsworth Primary School is a registered Charity and must comply with the relevant regulations of the Charities Commission and Inland Revenue. The elected Trustees of the Friends are responsible for making sure this happens and meet once a term. Their minutes can be viewed on the News Page.

Trustees are elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Friends.
Current Organisation
We would like to get as many parents/carers and friends involved as 'many hands makes light work'. You can do as little or as much as you want with no pressure.
- We have an elected Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
- Each class has one or more Class Representative.
- The Class Representatives liaise with the parents, 'Friends' and teacher, to help make things happen.

Class Representatives
- Each Class has one or more Class Representatives.
- The Class Representatives liaise with the parents, 'Friends' and teacher, to help make things happen.

The role of the Class Representatives includes:
- Attending the Friends' meetings;
- Organising a rota for manning the allocated stall at the Fayres;
- Preparing for the allocated stall at the Fayre as per instructions;
- Organising the food for the class Christmas party.
Please note that Class Representatives can delegate some or all of these tasks. In some classes, a couple of people organise the food for the class Christmas party, other people organise the Fayre stalls and different people again organise collections and Mum's night out.
Optional tasks include:
- Organising Mum's nights out;
- Sorting out collections.
