Bag 2 School - 24th February 2009

Thank you to everyone who brought in bags for Bag 2 School - this time we weighed in at 770kg which with Bag 2 School's new 100% bonus equates to £308.

Also, thank you and apologies to those who did turn up to load the van... the van arrived early and the driver loaded it all.

Bag 2 School - 12th November 2008

Thank you to everyone who brought in bags for Bag 2 School - it was another good van load - weighing in at 1300kg which equates to £390.

Also, thank you to the volunteers who turned up to help load the van. Between us, it took just 10 minutes to get this lot loaded!

Salsa Night - 17th October 2008

The first Friends Salsa evening started with a few glasses of 'Spanish’ courage. Everyone then warmed-up with direction from the professional teachers. After working up an appetite, a selection of Tapas was thoroughly enjoyed. The hall was then again filled with Latin-American Salsa music, while the now experienced dancers (see below) took to the floor to show-off their great foot work and gyrating hips. This week Goldsworth, next week Strictly Come Dancing....!

Thanks to Steve Cannell and Neil Tonkins for manning the bar. Thanks to Lorraine Mills, Jane Howell, Nina Cannell and Rachel Hunt for helping set-up and clear-up on the night.
